Is the cruise also open to students from other universities?
No, the cruise is only open to Aalto University students. When purchasing a ticket, you must provide the Aalto email address of each cabin member.
Can I switch the cabin members in our cabin?
Yes. You can edit your ticket information on Kide.app until 13.10.2024 free of charge. After that, contact opiskelijamatkat@matkapojat.fi for changes. This will cost 30€.
How many tickets are available?
There are tickets for about 2500 Aalto students.
Can I buy a cabin for less people than the cabin's capacity?
Unfortunately, no. You will need to fill the whole cabin.
Who is organising Otacruise?
Otacruise is run by a non-profit association, Otaniemen Merikerho ry, set up specifically for this purpose. You can contact the organisers at merikerho@merikerho.net or on Telegram @CaptainOtacruise.
Is the spa open on the cruise?
Yes. The Sunflower Oasis spa is open from 15.00-19.00 on the first day, and 12:00-20:00 on the second day.
